Bishop David L. Sylvester is a living epistle that the anointing and favor of God is upon his life. With twenty years of ministry experience, Bishop David is committed to the mandate of soul- winning.

Bishop David is married to the lovely Overseer Gloria Brown Sylvester, his partner for thirty years and to this union three children were born: Airman Darius (Minister Velmandria Sylvester), Tamika and David III: five grandchildren, Darius II, Kaela, Dariah, Khison and Khelon.

He is a graduate of the Alabama Interdenominational Seminary, Mobile, AL. He also holds a Master's of Theology from Faith and Fire Bible College. In 1992 the transition from his home in Mobile to Tuscaloosa proved to be a mighty move of God, where his territory has enlarged to fulfill the mandate the Lord has placed upon his life.

In 2001, another transition took place that led him and his wife from traditional church to the birth of New Dimensions Worship Center, a nondenominational full gospel congregation in Northport, AL .

This move led to the ultimate connection with Christian Fellowship of Churches International.

Bishop David is a member of Nazaree Full Gospel Church, where Bishop Joseph. D. Phillips is the Senior Pastor. He is the Bishop of Foreign Missions. His ministry gift to the body of Christ has led him locally and internationally, including London, Africa, Honduras, and Russia.

On April 24, 2009, Bishop David Sylvester was officially installed by Christian Fellowship of Churches International as Presiding Bishop of Destiny International Fellowship.
